About Marendana products
Nature and functions
Marendana is a simple solid strip that is attached to at least two sides of the window frame. The window molding uses the impact of light through the window and at the same time through its colors and / or through its perforations for a decorative purpose. Marendana also has a practical role, it can hold a curtain or other decorative elements, or it serves as a curtain. The window bar can be mounted in different positions, thus creating different combinations. The window bar also affects the appearance of the window from the outside.
Material and techniques
The window bar is made of materials that support transparency (glass, polycarbonate - PC, plexiglass - PMMA,…), but also of opaque materials (metal, wood…), which allow light to penetrate through the perforations. Marendana can be made by various techniques (mosaic technique, sanding, sintering, Tiffany technique, various painting techniques, as well as stencil printing), which are also combinable with each other. A transparent foil with different effects can also be glued to the transparent strip. This self-adhesive film may contain colored sequins, glass sand, etc. Marendana can also be adapted to different themes (season, Christmas, Easter, Halloween).
Shape and size
Matrendana can be made in different sizes and shapes. The size of the window bar is related to the size of the window so that the bar can be attached to the window frame. However, this is the only limitation that must be taken into account when manufacturing the window sill.
Grip
The great advantage of the window strip (window image) is also its simple attachment itself, as it allows for second assembly and disassembly. Marendana can be attached to the window frame in several ways.
Very light window moldings (window paintings), such as polycarbonate Marendans, can be attached with strong self-adhesive double-sided tapes or two-part self-adhesive tapes, which are very similar to self-adhesive Velcro.
If the windows are also equipped with blinds, it is possible to use a transparent lightweight intermediate element in combination with self-adhesive strips. This method of attachment is very popular, because the strip can be quickly attached and removed in this way and the window frame remains unchanged after removing the self-adhesive strips (there is no need to remove the adhesive residues ostat). The method of mounting the bar is the subject of an agreement between the customer and the manufacturer.
A curtain or other decorative objects can be attached to the window molding using Velcro, holes or eyelets.
